Datalyze - Self-Serve Analytics SaaS

Business teams needed to extract insights from CSV, Excel, and PDF files without writing code or paying for enterprise BI tools. Existing no-code tools broke above 10K rows, had no AI layer, and offered no subscription-based access model.

Build a self-serve analytics SaaS with file parsing, auto-generated visualizations, AI insights, and monetization - all shipped from zero to production as a solo engineering effort.

We built the platform on Next.js and Supabase, with server-side analytics to prevent data exposure. Users upload CSV, XLSX, PDF, DOCX, and JSON files and receive auto-generated charts (bar, line, pie, scatter, histogram), correlation analysis, outlier detection, and GPT-4-powered trend summaries. Stripe handles three subscription tiers - Free, Pro ($12/mo), and Team ($29/mo) - with per-user usage limits, file size gates, and PDF/Excel export. Supabase Auth supports email and Google OAuth with server-side JWT refresh.

Delivered a live, monetized SaaS platform. Stripe webhooks manage subscription state, feature gates enforce tier limits, saved project management allows users to revisit past analyses, and PDF/Excel export is available on paid tiers. Team collaboration supports up to 10 members.
